DETROIT (Aug. 17, 2021) – Inc. magazine revealed today that Buckfire Law has been named to its annual Inc. 5000 list, which is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

It marks the third time the Michigan-based personal injury law firm has been named to the highly touted list (2016, 2018, and 2021, respectively).

“We’re honored to have been named to the Inc. 5000 list for the third time. This past year definitely challenged us to adapt and grow differently than we originally planned,” Buckfire Law president and lead trial attorney Lawrence J. Buckfire said. “We are pleased with our growth and continue to look for new and challenging ways to grow and improve.”

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to the percentage of revenue growth when comparing year-over-year growth. To qualify for the list, businesses had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. Company revenues were required to be between $2 million and $1 billion-plus.

Companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, these companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.
