Bikes for Kids Giveaway

In an effort to promote bicycle safety and healthy lifestyles, the Michigan personal injury attorneys at Buckfire & Buckfire were excited to offer their very first bike giveaway. The attorneys collected nominations from local teachers, parents, and mentors and selected ten children to receive brand new bikes and helmets.

As personal injury attorneys, bicycle safety is a cause that we truly care about, so we wanted all children (and adults) to understand the importance of wearing a helmet and being safe cyclists. We expect that our winners will lead by example and practice safe bicycle etiquette in the community.

The winners were selected based on the nominator’s description of why the child deserved the bike. Referencing ways in which the child gives back to the community, examples of their personality or other stories about the child were shared and helped Daniel and Larry Buckfire choose which kids won a brand new bike.

Our winners came by our main office in Southfield to pick up their bike and have their helmet fitted. The event was a blast, and it was so fun to meet the winning children and their families and award them for everything they do!
