Robert is married and has two children. When not litigating cases, Robert enjoys spending free time with his family and friends. Robert is an avid golfer and runner. He enjoys, and participates in, many summer and winter sports. Robert enjoys literature and music of all genres. He is active in his community and supports many charitable organizations. His support of the Spinal Cord Society is very special to him. Robert’s close friend has been a quadriplegic since 1984 following a diving accident. He and his friend remain vigilant about finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.
Robert has also been active in Macomb County Sports but most significantly with Eisenhower High School Football where his father was the head coach for more than 40 years. Eisenhower football has been one of the most successful high school football programs in the State of Michigan. Robert’s father led the Eisenhower Eagles to 4 state championship games and many more semi-finals. Coach Bob Lantzy’s final career game was a semi-final game against Cass Tech High School in 2012 which the Eagles lost in a defensive battle by a score of 6-3.
