Farmington Hills Car Accident | David Shu-Kin Kwok

A Farmington Hills car accident tragically occurred as a man was trying to save his wife. David Shu-Kin Kwok and his wife Erika Kwok were returning items they had checked out to the Farmington Community Library when Erika fell. David jumped out of his car to help her since she was pregnant, but he did not put the car in park before he got out of it. David braced his body against the van to keep it from rolling over Erika, but he was trampled instead. A bystander jumped in the car and put it in park. David died in the accident, while Erika was listed in fair condition at Beaumont Hospital. Her unborn child is doing fine according to reports.

This accident is a real tragedy and I am extremely sorry it happened. I hope that Erika Kwok is able to recover and give birth to a healthy baby. I am very sorry David Kwok died in such a heroic attempt to save his wife and child.

It is never easy to deal with a sudden death, but at a time like this, the family must be wondering how they will deal with medical bills and funeral costs, which are probably significant.
